It all began in 1978 with my Nancy Drew obsession. I received the Nancy Drew cookbook for Christmas - my very first cookbook. The first recipe I tried was “Ghost Toast”. 

A native of Northern California and eternally 25 years old, Chef Jennifer Whitmire is very rooted in the cuisine and wine regions of the area.

Stuart is not your average wine reviewer, so you will find that his reviews tend to be anything but traditional.

Being a native Californian, meant that I grew up exposed to an amazing variety of foods always readily available in local markets.  Both of my parents grew up working in the packing sheds and picking fruit in the summer,  so I always had an appreciation for where my food came from.
