The Culinary Works

Stuart is not your average wine reviewer, so you will find that his reviews tend to be anything but traditional.

He has been living in the Sacramento area since 1995: dangerously close to some of the best wine the US (and even the world, depending on who you talk to) has to offer.  While Stuart does not spend all his weekends in Napa, he does live in the center of some great regional winery areas.

Stuart doesn't play favorites. Instead he enjoys discussing and reviewing all the great california wine regions

Stuart is also an IT Professional; which is a very broad description of what is his “real” job, but it does give him the flexibility to work on a laptop in the later hours of the day where he shares his tastings with our readers. He loves to taste and review new wines for himself instead of depending on the opinions of others. As a result, his friends like to use him as their “un-official” bartender at their parties and put him in charge of mixing cocktails whenever he is available. Stuart also loves to cook up a good meal and pair it with his drink of choice.
