I couldn't agree more!

I recently published an article explaining all the benefits to spending a little extra effort and cash on higher quality olive oil.  I hope you all read it and have thusly converted to using only the ‘good stuff’.   Whether or not you are a convert, I found a great place for you to visit.  

There are many opportunities for tasting olive oils in the Napa, St Helena area.  Tasting gives you a chance to try the various varietals and see what you prefer.   But, for my fellow Sacramentans, that’s a bit of a drive.   Well, problem now solved.

Artisan Gelato - Zia's Gelateria

Visiting the quaint gold rush town of Placerville is a nice way to spend an afternoon. There are many shops to wander through, quaint eateries, gold rush history etc. I, however, recommend you go for, above all else, two very important reasons, Olive Oil and Gelato. Here is why!
