12_27_crememartini10722251_thbChef Jen recently posted her recipe for Crème Brulee – which is one of my favorite desserts and in turn one of my favorite dessert cocktails.  The beautiful Fairmont hotel in San Francisco is a great place to enjoy a cocktail before dinner or a show.  The cocktail menu is quite nice and ten years ago the Food and Beverage Manager shared this recipe with me after I had it while there and stalked her through email to get the recipe (yes, I am THAT foodie!).  It has been in my holiday cocktail arsenal ever since…It is perfect as a dessert martini with sweets – I love it with a slice of gingerbread cake with whipped cream!

Crème Brulee Martini

  • 3 tbs vanilla vodka
  • 1 tbs Cointreau
  • 1 tbs Frangelico
  • 2 tbs heavy cream
  • Ice
  • Orange slice/brown sugar for garnish

Shake, shake, shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into glass rimmed with brown sugar and orange slice.

Cheers!
