Have you noticed the trees bloomin’ lately?  Spring is in the air and it is time to mix up some lively cocktails to enjoy the time of bloom.

One of my favorite events to attend when I lived on the East coast in the spring was the National Cherry Blossom Festival – so in honor of the cherry blooms – here is a wonderful cocktail to kick off spring!.

The Cherry Blossom

(makes 1 cocktail)

• 1 ½ oz Three Olives Cherry Vodka
• ½ oz orange juice
• ¼ oz grenadine
• ¼ oz Red Bull
• Maraschino cherry (for garnish)

Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake, shake, shake!  Garnish with a cherry.  Strain into martini glass and sip away!
